Tony Figueroa – Service Manager

Tony Figueroa has been with the family business for 8 years and is responsible for managing the front office and ensuring top-notch customer service. Growing up in the business, Tony has always been immersed in the world of automotive repair. He enjoys the variety of cars that come through the shop and the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. His proudest moment was helping a customer make the boat on the same day after a fuel line ruptured. With a specialty in foreign car repair and a passion for technology, Tony is an integral part of the team. When he’s not at the shop, you can find him working on the 30 cars he owns at his garage in Westboro.

Jimmy Hannah – Shop Foreman

With 20 years of experience at the company, Jimmy Hannah is the shop foreman and the go-to “shop therapist.” He specializes in lifted vehicles and high-performance repairs. Jimmy thrives on working with a diverse group of employees and enjoys the challenge of learning something new every day. One of his most memorable moments was replacing a clutch in a neighbor’s Mack truck. Known for his people skills and team-building abilities, Jimmy plays a key role in keeping the shop running smoothly. Outside of work, he cherishes time with his kids and family, occasionally enjoys hunting, and has a background in racing 250cc motocross as a kid and young adult.

Berto Alvarado – Body Shop Foreman

Berto Alvarado has been the body shop foreman for 11 years, specializing in handling major collision repairs. With over three decades of experience working in various shops since 1991, Berto takes pride in the finished product and enjoys the lighthearted moments with his team. His most memorable moment was repairing his own car at the shop after an accident. Berto’s “no quit” attitude is one of his greatest strengths, ensuring every project is completed with precision. Outside of work, he enjoys boating and spending quality time with his grandkids and family. Berto is bilingual and spent four years in school in Puerto Rico, where his family originates.

Angel Figueroa – Owner

Angel Figueroa has been the proud owner of the business since 2001. His journey began at 30 Evelyn Way, delivering Pepperidge Farm cookies, before entering the body shop world in 1994. After five years running the body shop, Angel expanded his expertise working for Isuzu as a repair technician, parts specialist, and service professional. He then moved on to Carroll’s Trucking, fixing fleets, and later became the maintenance manager at BFI. In a bold move, Angel launched MV Autoworks out of a caravan, providing mobile car repairs. By 2001, he returned to Evelyn Way, where he purchased the business and the building. Outside of work, Angel loves spending time with his seven children, traveling with his wife to foreign countries, and enjoying free time with friends.

Alex Lawson – Lead Painter

Alex Lawson has been the lead painter for the company for 14 years, responsible for ensuring every vehicle leaves the shop looking its best. His passion for painting started early, working alongside his father repairing and painting boats since the age of 10. Alex attended the Barron Institute of Technology, specializing in autobody. He loves the hands-on aspect of his job and values the family-like culture at the shop. One of his proudest achievements was painting a Metropolitan that went on to win several car show awards. Known for staying calm under pressure, Alex enjoys hunting, fishing, and target practice. Having grown up on a boat until the age of six, he even learned to walk on one!
